We don’t want to brag, but when it comes to St. Patrick’s Day, these colouring pages are just the start of our ideas. Add a few more of the activities and snacks below to create a day full of family fun.
- Get all dressed up in green. Whether you go for matching pajamas or a favourite t-shirt, make everyone’s pinch-proof in case any actual leprechauns are lurking nearby.
- Have a “pot o’ gold” scavenger hunt. Put these St. Patrick’s Day colouring pages into a cute container with some chocolate coins, crayons or markers, and small toys. Hide the container somewhere tricky and give the kids clues for how to find it.
- Go rainbow hunting while you run errands. Tell the kids to watch for rainbows while you’re out and about—real or otherwise. For example, they might see a rainbow in sprinkler mist, a flag or an illustration on a cereal box (you know the one). First person to spot one wins a special prize.
